Bengaluru to Ladakh,A Self-Drive Expedition by Roy Cruiser
Roads to Himalayas is Roy Cruiser’s signature Bengaluru to Ladakh self-drive expedition,A 21-day journey that goes far beyond maps and milestones. Over 5 successful seasons, this iconic drive has brought together 200+ travelers, all united by one dream: to drive from Bengaluru to the heart of Ladakh.
The route unfolds through Pune, Kevadia, Udaipur, Jaipur, Srinagar, Kargil, Leh, and deep into the high Himalayas. Smooth highways slowly give way to rugged mountain roads, snowfall, steep passes, and thin air. Along the way come challenges ,altitude changes, breakdowns, long days, and moments of doubt balanced by laughter, shared meals, silent sunrises, and unforgettable views.
Crossing Kargil and climbing Himalayan passes tests endurance, patience, and spirit. Strangers turn into teammates, teammates into friends, and by the time Ladakh reveals itself, the convoy becomes one big family bonded by the road.
This isn’t just a self-drive expedition.
It’s a journey of adventure, struggle, resilience, and achievement,A memory carried long after the engines cool
